Zac

CH. Chaparal's Anzac Von Hausman
April 29, 1996 - March 13, 2001

This was the only offspring of our Cobber. Zac was a sweet boy and as handsome as you could ask for. Just a month short of his fifth birthday Zac gave up his fight against the canine version of Addison's disease and journeyed to the Rainbow Bridge. He is not a dog that is easily forgotten.

Dart

CH. Greenbriar D'Artagnan
September 15, 1987   -   October 21, 2001

Dart was our first Lab champion. He came to us as a very macho stud dog. Slowly but surely he turned into a very calm house dog and companion. He died in my arms in the kitchen at age fourteen. He lives on though in his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

DJ

Von Hausman's Forth Musketeer, CGC,TDI
April 26, 1991 - July 29, 2004

Our buddy DJ left us at 14yrs of age. He was our house clown and probably the most laid back labrador I have ever owned. When I took him for his TDI, they loved him but asked if he ever woke up? He loved to show and as soon as he came out of the ring, he would promptly lay down and go to sleep. We referred to DJ as our narcolepsy dog. He was Major pointed, we miss you DJ and all of your games you played with us!

Nicki

Berenike of Hemlock, CD
June 5, 1991 - October, 2004

Nicki came to me too be trained for her CD. This was my first time as a professional trainer. She was very easy to train and I ended up falling in love with her. We went on for the CD and the last leg to her CD she ended up placing 1st. I was thrilled that we did that, because we beat a Golden Retriever and that is usually a hard thing to do. That day we were "both on" as they say and she was almost flawless in her working with me. After Nicki went home to her family, they contacted me shortly after that and wanted to know if I wanted to buy her. I was thrilled and Nicki became our girl. She had a wonderful heart and was truly a credit to the breed. Nicki did produce two more champions for our kennel. BISS Ch. Hollidaze Postmaster and Am. Can. Ch. Von Hausman D'Star Fantasia. Nicki is still missed today.

Brat

Ch. Dan-Dee Porthus Von Hausman, CGC,TDI
January 11, 1997 - December, 2004

Brat was truly one of best. He is the son of DJ (Von Hausman's Forth Musketeer). He was not our breeding, but the breeding of Dan-Dee Labradors. I took a puppy out of the litter, because Brat was such a gorgeous boy. He finished to his Championship very fast. He had a wonderful temperament and produced that good temperament through his get. He lived with the co-owner Dee Dickson and was her inspiration and introduction to the showing of Labradors. Brat was lost in a house fire at Dee's and a tragedy that we still feel today. We miss this wonderful boy and through our thoughts he lives in our hearts today.

Taz

Ch. Pond Hollow Tasmania
May 23, 1995 - July, 2005

Taz was a remarkable girl and definitely Claudia's girl. She was my "Velcro girl". Taz came to us from Diane Baldwin, Pond Hollow Chessie's. We told Diane that we wanted a "show stopper", and Diane did exactly what we asked her, she sent us a really nice "show stopper". Taz wasn't really thrilled about showing, did it as a job, but she was a gorgeous girl and she could just stand in the ring and not do anything, but she would win, judges just couldn't take there eye's off of her. She had correct type and would just set herself up like a Greek Goddess! Thank you Diane for this wonderful girl. We will miss our Taz, our protector, our friend.

Cobber

Ch. Pond Hollow Australia
July 1992 - October 2005

Cobber was our first chessie. We contacted Diane Baldwin, Pond Hollow Chesapeake that we were looking for a wonderful show dog. This was our first chessie and we wanted something special. We told Diane that we would wait until she saw a puppy that she could say "Wow" about. We waited for Cobber for 1 1/2yrs and Diane called us and told us she had a perfect boy for us. The rest is history in our kennel. Cobber finished his Championship at 18 months with multiple Group winnings. He is truly the "spirit" of the chessie's in our kennel. Cobber, we miss you and will see you again!!!!

Bodi

Ch. Sand Bar's Flashback
June 8, 1994 - May 31, 2007

We got Bodi from Diane Keister/Baker of Sandbar kennels. Bodi produced allot of Champions for our kennel and is in basis our first foundation bitch for the kennel. Bodi loved the water and loved to retrieve rocks from the bottom of small rivers. She was the "Queen" of the kennel and everyone knew it. She loved people and she loved us and once she retired from showing and breeding, she was kenneled with her buddy, Cobber. They were a fantastic pair and the kennel chessie clowns. We will miss you Bodi as you live through your kids, grand kids, and great grand kids.

Ane

Ambersand Ariane
1993 - 2007

We miss our Ane and she is remembered in our hearts and through her puppies. Ane was Champion pointed. We were fortunate to get her and to know her breeder Jan Stolarevsky-Amersand Labradors. Ane was one of my favorite females and the rock of our breeding program. She produced 2 Champions for our kennel, Ch. Von Hausman's Ursa Major and Ch. Hollidaze Gulliver V. Hausman. We miss you Ane.

Gulliver

Ch. Hollidaze Gulliver V Hausman
November 14, 2001 - April 2, 2008

Gulliver was truly a credit too the breed. He had such a wonderful, kind temperament. We are sad that he lived a short life and he is at the Rainbow Bridge with his mother Ane. Gulliver we miss you!

Our kennel name started with German Shepherds. We would like to show a few pictures of our Shepherds so they can be remembered also.

Doc

Shaleens Doc Holliday

Man

Man was a great dog. He was the namesake for our kennel. Von Hausman means house of man. Man was a Can. and Am. Champion along with having his companion dog title. Man was a good dog and is still missed today.
