We have been owned by Labradors since the mid-1980's. Claudia obtained her first lab, "Mule", and we have never looked back. "Mule" is the spirit of this kennel. He was a high spirited, hard working dog who epitomizes what our kennel stands for. Our second lab was "Princess". She was the smartest lab we have ever owned and the mother of many of our second generation labs.

We started out with very different interests. Chuck was showing his German Shepard's in Conformation and I was purely showing in obedience. We met and branched out into training, conformation (showing), and field work with the Labradors. I have always had Labradors. Chuck decided to switch breeds because of the problems we were having with the show German Shepard's and orthopedic problems. He wanted a hardy breed and a sporting breed. I had many years earlier, before I got my first Labrador, looked at the Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We studied the breed and then contacted one of the top breeders. We got our first Chessie after 1.5 years, we told the breeder that we wanted a Show Stopper! The rest is history.Our dogs can do everything, including being the best family companions you could wish for.
